    Position: Reservationist

    Job Description: 
    The Reservationist responds to communications from community organizations, guests and schools, etc. concerning field trip, teacher professional development, private workshops and outreach reservations arriving by mail, telephone, fax, or email. Creates and maintains reservation records, prepares letters of confirmation and quotes and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications. He/she tracks future availability on the basis of reservations and works with the Director of Education in order to create group itineraries. Additional duties may include preparing the list of expected arrivals for the front office, assisting in preregistration activities when appropriate, and processing advance reservation deposits. The Reservationist must be knowledgeable of all museum programs, activities, field trip and outreach options, and exhibitions.

    Position: Part-Time Educator

    Job Description:
    A Museum Educator is responsible for seeing that visitors have an enjoyable and educational time when visiting the Museum. Provides tours, programs and classes relating to museum exhibitions and provides activities in the Science Labs and Art Studios and temporary travelling exhibits on a daily basis. Attempts to answer any inquiry a visitor may have. Assists in planning and organizing for the education department. Promotes museum, designs, writes, and implements programs and supports the mission of the Museum.
