Exhibition Proposal Guidelines
Proposal Submission Process
The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) is always interested in receiving exhibition proposals from artists. The mission of the IMAS is to create an environment that inspires, educates and entertains the public through the arts and sciences. We encourage submissions from artists who have mastered their art media and have past exhibition experience. Artists creating new work, site-specific installations or a special project for exhibition are strongly encouraged to apply. The IMAS will not accept a proposal for work that has already been shown within 120 miles of McAllen during a period of 18 months preceding the opening date or will be shown within 120 miles of McAllen within six months after the closing at the museum.
The IMAS accepts exhibition proposals throughout the year. All proposals must adhere to the guidelines below. We will respond to you as soon as your review is complete. Please allow six months for the review process and include an SASE if you would like physical materials returned.
