The museum is partnering with the Society for Neuroscience RGV Chapter to offer online presentations by nervous system researchers, perfect for adults and teens interested in expanding their awareness of brain science.

Brain Awareness Hour is an initiative of the Rio Grande Valley Society for Neuroscience Chapter to fulfill its mission of awareness, education and research, organized by the International Museum of Art & Science.

In this talk, Dr. Amber Harris Bozer will discuss (1) her career as a neuroscientist and psychologist investigating pain, (2) how pain works in the nervous system, and (3) several unsolved mysteries of pain.
