UPCOMING EXHIBITION

September 30, 2023 – January 28, 2024

Exhibitions are free with General Admission.

Join the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) in hosting its 3rd Annual Members’ Juried Art Show (MJAS). MJAS provides a welcoming space and opportunity for the community to professionally display their artwork at IMAS, available to be seen by museum visitors of all ages.

Submitting artwork to be exhibited in this show is an IMAS membership benefit. All current IMAS members 18 years old or older may enter up to two pieces of artwork; at least one will be included in the show. Up to two adults from the same household address may participate if they have a Family membership or higher level. A membership can be purchased or renewed up to the date of artwork submission. The IMAS has moved to a Jan.-Dec. membership cycle. If you have not renewed for 2023, you will need to renew before entering. Contact IMAS for renewal or questions at (956) 681-2800 or www.theimasonline.org/member.

Exhibition is supported by:
Atlas, Hall, & Rodriguez, LLP

To participate, download the application below, complete, and bring with you during one of the designated drop off dates and times along with your artwork(s). The IMAS Curatorial team will review and collect these items for submission and successfully submitted works will then be juried by non-IMAS representative Jurors. Jurors will select the final artworks to be accepted into the exhibition as well as provide the IMAS with a Best of Show (1st place), Second Place, Third Place, and 3 Honorable Mentions, all with a monetary value. Declined artworks will be ready for pickup at the designated dates and times, and the accepted works will be displayed. All artists submitting work must provide a reliable form of contact information in order to be notified of declined artwork, received awards, or updates to their submissions.

Join us for a reception and awards ceremony on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 5-7PM. Awards will be announced at 6PM. The MJAS reception is free for all IMAS members. Exhibiting members will receive two complementary guest passes on the day of drop-off. Additional guests may purchase a ticket for $10.
