Adult Folk Art Workshops
Explore the museum’s Mexican & Latin American Folk Art Collection through engaging workshops. Participants will get inspired with a private viewing of select objects from the collection, followed by traditional artmaking. Registration includes admission so participants may visit the museum after the workshop.

Sunday, February 18 – Mexican Masks:
Learn about the long history of Mask Masking in Mexico from present-day folk-art masks in the IMAS permanent collection to masks made in Jade during the Olmec period. Participants will view a selection of masks from the permanent collection and create their own mask with Papier Mache.
