Young Adventurers: Nature Bugs

Loading Events

Get buggy and crawl into IMAS. In this workshop Young Adventurers will learn more about bugs, see one up close, and create their own construction paper bug with different shapes and colors. This workshop includes story time, light snack, and a take home magnifying lens. What other bugs and living things can you find at IMAS with your magnifying lens?

Young Adventurers join us at IMAS through drop-in sessions at 10:00 a.m. ad 11:00 a.m. IMAS Educators will engage and introduce STEAM concepts as well as problem solving and motor skills that engage young learners and encourage critical thinking and observation skills. Together, guardians and young adventurers are encouraged to think more closely about their surroundings in nature and the importance of instilling simple STEAM concepts through play at an early age.

For ages 3-6 with accompanying adult.
Program is supported by a grant from PNC Bank
