Girl Scouts of all ages, join us for Girl Scouts Day at the IMAS for imaginative hands-on learning that gives us a closer look at our teaching collection, such as our Geology and Mexican Folk Art from the Ann Moore Collection. Activities include amethyst slime, painting en plein air, and more.

Biozone Lab- Amethyst Slime

What’s the difference between minerals and rocks? Explore some of the geology collection as we learn more about rocks and minerals as we create Amethyst slime!

Zoom into outer space! Grab your color pencils and paper as we work together to create a Solar System zine and learn about your favorite planet in our cosmic neighborhood!

Ann Moore Art Studio- Ann Moore Trucks

Become an engineer and build a truck from cardstock! After we color and build our truck, let’s test how well it moves down an inclined plane!

Picnic Area- Paint En Plein Air

Create a watercolor masterpiece of the peaceful palm trees swaying in the wind in our picnic area or paint a unique creation from your imagination.
