IMAS Guild President Toni Davila is excited to announce that “Dare To Be Different With Creative Elegance” is the theme of this year’s Style Show and Luncheon. Slated for Saturday, March 29 this annual fundraising event for the International Museum of Art and Science promises to delight south Texas fashionistas and foodies alike, hosted at the beautiful Radisson Hotel McAllen Airport.
After being welcomed with a champagne mimosa, guests can browse the delectable offerings at the Silent Auction, which have been donated by generous supporters of the museum, eager to show off their merchandise and services. To name a few, there will be jewelry from Carats, McKenzie Childs pottery from Oh Kay’s, Gift Certificates from restaurants such as The Patio on Guerra and the Delgado Collective, and boutiques such as Gabii’s on Main Street.
Fashions, coordinated by Runway Chair Adelita Munoz, are courtesy of Chico’s, Lionels, and Alicia’s Artesanias, all daring to be different and flaunting creative elegance.
A delicious lunch, served from the Radisson’s highly regarded kitchen, will be accompanied by a string quartet, and more music will be provided by DJ Mark Alvarez and saxophonist Caleb Martinez.
